A ‘home away from home’
Our rooms are all located on the first floor, sleeping 2 people per room. We offer king size beds, twin beds and we also have a family room for 2 adults and 2 children under 12 years old, available upon request. Please call us directly if you wish to book this room. All of our rooms have stunning views over the garden and private nature reserve, beyond, where you can watch the wildlife go by. Including excellent views of our resident Badgers and Tawny Owls at night.
Our spacious rooms have your personal bathroom located directly opposite. For your comfort we provide bath robes, towels and bathroom amenities. Each room is equipped with a television connected to our wildlife cams during Spring allowing you to watch
our resident wildlife from the comfort of your bed. There are tea and coffee making facilities within your room which also include water, glasses and a bottle opener, so you can sit back with a beverage of your choice and relax whilst looking out onto the garden.
A relaxed private breakfast is truly the best start to the day!
Included in the room price is a generous breakfast which is made to order and delivered to your room, where you can enjoy your own intimate breakfast to start the day. Breakfast options include either a Continental Breakfast: baked pastries, yoghurt, cereal, mixed fruit, breads, fruit juice, tea and coffee. Or if you would rather something more substantial to set you up for the day ahead we also offer a yummy Full English Breakfast option using local produce too. We are able to cater for special dietary requirements but kindly request that you provide us with any specific requirements when booking.
The outdoors!
Residents are also able to enjoy a short walk within the grounds on our Nature Trail at Bawdsey Hall. Please note some areas at Bawdsey Hall are out of bounds for all and reserved for wildlife conservation.
Hide use is not included in the accommodation price. If you wish to book a photography experience during your stay this can be booked via the Bawdsey Hall Wildlife Hide website.
Your hosts
We are small family run Bed and Breakfast and have a limited number of guests per night, all occupying rooms across a vast space. Therefore your stay with us at Bawdsey Hall is a quiet and relaxing retreat. We live on site and we are here to help you enjoy your time so please just ask if you need any help or advice, we wish your stay to be as interesting, relaxing and enjoyable as possible. Ahead of your arrival we will provide our contact details so if you do require any further information or tips on some of our favourite places to visit please feel free to contact us.
